Find Stillness: try to find 2-4 times each day where you can hold still for 5 slow breaths. Notice how things shift after you take that time.
Build a Machine: This game can be played with all age kids once the kids have learned to freeze in a pose. For kids who are younger, a great stillness exercise is to have them lie on the floor and put a stuffed animal on their belly and watch the animal move up and down as they breath. If you show them this way to give their animals a gentle ride, make sure you do it next to them so you get the benefit.
Journal or Think about when in your day are times you can take a little stillness. You don’t need to find time for 20 minutes of meditation. Just time to stand or sit still for a few breaths.
